Apple Picking

Since Brian was off work on Monday, we decided to drive up to Hendersonville, NC for the day and pick apples. We had a very scary thing happen when we first got there. We were pulling Allie and Mason in one of the wagons they had and somehow it tipped over! Mason fell out and was ok, but Allie fell out on her face and got scratched up pretty badly on her left side. (You can see it in a couple of the pictures.) Poor little thing! Mason was such a sweet big brother- he kept kissing her and checking on her. Once we knew she was alright, we were able to calm down and enjoy ourselves. Mason had so much fun running through the orchard and finding apples to fill our basket. He also loved playing in the pumpkin patch and seeing all of the scarecrows. After a picnic lunch, it was time to go home!
