Big Girl

Our sweet and sassy girl is sitting up all by herself!
So big......

Together Pictures

Mason and Allie wore their matching brother- sister outfits to church today and I thought I would try to snap a few pictures of them together in the yard. As usual, this was not as easy as I would have liked..... First of all, it was almost lunch/nap time and both of them were hungry and cranky. Not to mention, Mason didn't want to have his picture taken in the first place! (After some reverse psychology, he finally agreed!) And although they aren't exactly the "perfect" pictures I was hoping for........ they still turned out really cute and definitely full of personality!

Bath Time

As I was looking through Allie's scrapbook the other day, I noticed that I only had a few bath pictures.......So last night at bath time, I finally remembered to get the camera out and take some! She loves her baths and has become very good at splashing us. Also, the toe sucking is her new thing- it cracks me up! (It must be a girl thing, because I don't remember Mason ever doing that!)

All clean and ready for night, night!

Picnic at the park

Since Mason has been stuck at home for the last couple of days with an ear infection, he's been begging to go outside. Today was such a beautiful day that I just couldn't say no. So, we packed a picnic lunch and went to the park. Even though it was VERY windy, we still enjoyed our time outside!

Surprise from Nina & A.J.

A few weeks ago, my step-grandpa (A.J.) had asked me if Mason could have a motorized John Deere Gator that his granddaughters had outgrown......and I reluctantly said yes. So, he and my grandma (Nina) surprised Mason with it this afternoon. He was a little bit scared of it at first, but once he got used to it- there was no stopping him! Mason absolutely LOVES it!! I honestly don't know that I've ever seen him so excited! Thank You A.J. and Nina!!

Tinkerbell Quilt

A friend of ours made Allie the cutest Tinkerbell quilt...she already loves it!!

First Cereal

We decided the other day that it might be time for Allie to start trying cereal, since she's become really interested in our food. We figured she'd spit it everywhere and be done with it......but she actually seemed to like it! Such a little piglet!!

More please!

(It ain't easy) Being the Big Brother

Poor Mason. He still hasn't quite adjusted to the fact that he is no longer an only child. And he still isn't exactly fond of being the big brother. After five and a half months, he still hates it when Allie is getting more attention than he is. (Will the jealousy EVER end?) So, when I take pictures of Allie, he always makes sure I take some of him, too! I thought this one turned out pretty darn cute......

Allie's Baptism

Not every child can say they were baptized in lake Murray.....we love that Allie was able to have such a special baptism. What a truly amazing day!

I'm a Little Astronaut

I'm a little Astronaut up in space.
When I look out it's a very dark place.
I land on the moon and bounce about.
I collect moon rocks in my pouch.
Now it's time to leave so hear me shout,
5,4,3,2,1.....Blast Off!

Back to Preschool!

I can't believe that it's already time for Mason to go back to preschool! Where did the summer go? It's also hard to believe that he's a three year old this year! Despite some first day separation anxiety, he did really well! When he walked in, the whole preschool was decorated with an outer space theme (which he though was pretty cool!) and he was excited to see that some of his friends from last year were in his class again. We are definitely looking forward to a fun-filled year at St. Stephens!!

Ready for School!
